Diploma, B.E, B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Real Estate Experience

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, taking into account materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.
  • Cost Control: Develop and implement cost control strategies to monitor project expenses, track variations, and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
  • Procurement: Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing of materials and services.
  • Contract Administration: Administer construction contracts, review and validate payment applications, and handle contractual disputes and claims.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate cost overruns and delays.
  • Value Engineering: Evaluate and recommend value engineering options to optimize project costs without compromising quality or safety.
  • Project Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports and cost analysis to project stakeholders, senior management, and clients.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quantity surveyors and collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and architects.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies related to quantity surveying and construction management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of quantity surveying operations.
